This week
has helped me to improve my skills as a good teacher in many different
ways. I took all those week tasks with
the hopes of improving my ability with technology. First, I hoped that this week would allow me
to create sits for my students which it did.
Second, I hoped that by practicing what I have learned, I would improve
the speed in which it took me to complete all my assignments checking. One more thing, writing a project plan was
another challenging to me this week because I am not really good with reporting
my student’s feedback. Sharing writing a project plan with a peer, it’s just brilliant
and very helpful. I feel this week has
helped me achieve my goals. Creating
worksheets are really fun. I am so proud of myself now and that because
of this amazing course, however upon completing this week, I feel that my overall
skill level has improved dramatically. Many thanks indeed for Mr. Sean for all wonderful
course mates

ReplyDeleteHi Salaah,
ReplyDeleteI also find it very helpful to have a partner review your project because your peer has different ways to understand and to comment on your work.
I am glad to hear that you are very positive about the impact of this Webskill course on our teaching. That positive attitude of the teacher might as well be transferred to learners.
Before taking this course, I thought that those worksheets available on line were from highly skilled professional lesson designers; now, we all have become among them. Isn't it amazing?
Until next blog!
Best,
Manda

Hi Salah,
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your valuable feedback and suggestions about my project. I think peer review is good and beneficial, especially to the author, because as you have seen your own report for so many times you may overlook some details. Thanks again for your comments. Much appreciated.
Teresa
Hello Salah,
ReplyDeleteI am sure you are a good teacher and that your students are happy to learn with you! :) All the helpful online tools we have been introduced to this week will also enrich your teaching! By the way, which sites or online tools have you found most appealing and why?
What concerns our projects and plans, I do agree with you that we can learn only more and come up with a better results because we have our partners. They can help us notice what we cannot see, since we know everything in the project/plan so well that we sometimes don't see very important points. Therefore, peer review is such a great idea and I am happy that Teresa and you have already shared all thoughts, which will help you to come up with a good final result! :)
Wish you lots of great time in your teaching process and great results with your project! :)
Best wishes,
Jurga.
Hello, Salah! I'm glad to see that many of us are sharing this sense of achievement and pride after learning so much in this course! You're right that sharing our drafts with a classmate will help lots, as we're bound to miss some things due to the simple fact that we wrote our project ourselves. By having someone else read our project and make changes, we'll be able to hand in a well-rounded report/plan and we'll realize how much we can do or we have done with and for our students. I'm sure your students think you're a great teacher, and what we're learning here will contribute to your improvement!
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Lupita.
