Week 5

I recently finished all the assignments for this week. Our assignments were about assessment and to create rubrics which I have never used them before. It was a bit challenging for me, as much as I worked hard with these tasks as much as I enjoyed it and I felt very satisfied at the end. In this week I wanted to improve my skills in writing effective lesson plans which in somehow I did.
This week helped me to improve my knowledge in using technology in different areas. Creating a Rubric was challenging for me and took two days to understand the method and I do not know why? I guess my mind totally went blank that day.  In every task was given to me, I practiced it so that was extremely helpful to me. Solving problems for our students was a quite exciting and enjoyable step because last week I read most the problems that teachers indicated and I was looking forward to knowing how they will find the solutions.

I enjoyed this week as well as the previous weeks. Mr. Sean is a great instructor, and I would highly recommend this class to anyone. Also, I want to thank all my course mates who I learn from them a lot every week, I do really mean it and I wish to meet them face to face one day.

  1. Hi Salah,

I guess most of us enjoyed this week's tasks, especially with creating rubrics and WebQuest. You wrote that you had difficulties in creating rubrics. Don't worry, it happened to me last week when we had to come up with a technology-enhanced lesson plan. I spent almost two days too, to think and to write 1 lesson plan. Maybe we should improve on our time management since we have a project coming soon. I wish you all the best for your final project.

    Regards,
    Annusha

  2. Hi Salaah,

I am pleased you have been able to complete the week's tasks in spite of the challenge with rubrics. My challenge has been the internet connection. Two days without internet could make someone go mad! Fortunately I have managed to complete. You haven't mentioned the webquest! Have you been able to create one? Awesome tool, isn't it?

    1. Hey Foli,

Unfortunately, here in Yemen most of the time the power goes off which sometimes drives me soooooooooooooo crazy.Actually, I created a webquest and I shared the link on Wiki. I really loved it and I'm happy that I had the chance to know about it.

Enjoy and wish you the best for ever

  4. Hi Salaah,

I want to thank you for your comments on my Week 5 blog post. Congrats on your achieved rubric and quest! To answer your question whether I have used the quest or not, I have not done that, yet. With so many things going on, I have not had time for everything; but I hope I will manage to let my students try using that quest next term. How about yours?

    Best,

    Manda
