This week
has helped me to improve my skills as a good teacher in many different
ways. I took all those week tasks with
the hopes of improving my ability with technology. First, I hoped that this week would allow me
to create sits for my students which it did.
Second, I hoped that by practicing what I have learned, I would improve
the speed in which it took me to complete all my assignments checking. One more thing, writing a project plan was
another challenging to me this week because I am not really good with reporting
my student’s feedback. Sharing writing a project plan with a peer, it’s just brilliant
and very helpful. I feel this week has
helped me achieve my goals. Creating
worksheets are really fun. I am so proud of myself now and that because
of this amazing course, however upon completing this week, I feel that my overall
skill level has improved dramatically. Many thanks indeed for Mr. Sean for all wonderful
course mates

Week 7
It’s feeling
amazing that we are in week 7.This week was exceptional, extraordinary and unusual
week. I really enjoyed all the tasks of this week. Reading articles about
learner autonomy and the three articles about the one-computer classroom were relatively
amazing. I learned a lot and shared videos and articles about learner autonomy on
Padlet site. I am very excited and lucky working with Teresa on the final
project plan. I have started writing my
project plan and I am trying my best to write what have learned from the past
weeks. Reading about my course mate’s comments and their sharing are very
useful. I really enjoyed those discussions and still talk to a lot my Colleagues
at school. What I really liked more this
week about reading an article giving tips for classroom with using a computer.
I learned different technics and I will definitely use them in my class, I hope
for all my course mates and Mr.Sean a great time!

Week 6
Week 6
is one of the most unforgettable weeks for me. Unfortunately, In
Yemen the situation seems not quite quiet and unstable these days. Last week,
the electricity pillars have been exploded and the Internet was down for two
days. It really drove me crazy and I felt obsoletely
frustrated. Although all the problems
that I faced this week, I tried to pull myself together in order to focus on
this week’s work.
Anyway, I have never used PowerPoint in my class and it was
really challenging to me to create one. I did really enjoy it a lot. I think I will use it in my class for this term
for the final oral exam. My students will do a presentation with the PowerPoint.
I learned are that slides have to be concise, interactive, illustrated,
numbered, informative, and not be read like a book.
Regarding to the final project Step 5: Implement
Technology Change in my Class, I think all the skills have studied so far the
WebQuest Development, the PowerPoint Creation and the Alternative Assessment/
Rubrics Creation will be great step for finding interactive solutions for the
problems that we face in our class. I am really looking forward to learning
more and more.

Week 5
I recently finished all the assignments for this week. Our assignments
were about assessment and to create rubrics which I have never used them
before. It was a bit challenging for me, as much as I worked hard with these tasks
as much as I enjoyed it and I felt very satisfied at the end. In this week I
wanted to improve my skills in writing effective lesson plans which in somehow
I did.
This week helped me to improve my knowledge in using technology in
different areas. Creating a Rubric was challenging for me and took two days to understand
the method and I do not know why? I guess my mind totally went blank that day. In every task was given to me, I practiced it so
that was extremely helpful to me. Solving problems for our students was a quite
exciting and enjoyable step because last week I read most the problems that
teachers indicated and I was looking forward to knowing how they will find the solutions.
I enjoyed this week as well as the previous weeks. Mr. Sean is a
great instructor, and I would highly recommend this class to anyone. Also, I
want to thank all my course mates who I learn from them a lot every week, I do
really mean it and I wish to meet them face to face one day.
